Chungdahm Learning Partners with LG Electronics to Expand “Smart Learning”
Late last month, Chungdahm Learning signed an MOU for a joint business partnership with LG Electronics regarding Global Smart Learning. Chungdahm Learning has also signed a supply agreement with LG Electronics, to provide the Loudclass Smart Learning Solution. This Billion KRW scale project currently offers its tablet-based learning solution to over 30,000 students and teachers.
LG Electronics is currently providing TVs and 70 tablets for Smart Classrooms to Sejong City schools. This year, they plan on expanding with Chungdahm Learning’s Loudclass Smart Learning Solution. Chungdahm Learning will be responsible for solution installation and maintenance, server management and administration, hands-on teacher training, end-user management, and general services.
Chungdahm Learning’s Smart Classroom Solution is not simply a tablet with Internet access and messaging capabilities. Chungdahm Learning’s Smart Classroom Platform allows tablet teaching with a built-in digital textbook.
In fact, Chungdahm Learning’s Loudclass Smart Learning Solution allows teachers to control students’ tablets, as well as facilitate teacher-to-student and student-to-student interaction. In Korea, Chungdahm Institute, Chungdahm Learning’s brand, currently has 30,000 students learning with the solution.
Moving forward, Chungdahm Learning will be working with IT companies in addition to national and international educational exhibitions and fairs. Global business performance will be based on these results.
Starting on the 18th, the company will demonstrate the smart class solution at the 2015 Korean Public Procurement Expo (KOPPEX) at the LG Electronics booth.
